Overview
This three-part webinar series supports students and families in developing practical study habits, motivation and organisational skills. The sessions focus on creating positive learning conditions, supporting wellbeing and strengthening independent learning at home and in school.

Session 1: Creating the Conditions for Learning

  •  enhancing the learning environment 
  •  developing organisational skills 
  •  addressing common misconceptions about study 

Session 2: Supporting Motivation and Wellbeing

  •  strategies to motivate students 
  •  approaches to reducing procrastination 
  •  coping strategies to support student wellbeing 

Session 3: Strengthening Independent Learning

  •  strategies to enhance information retrieval 
  •  the value of mind maps and visual supports 
  •  the importance of balance in learning and daily life 

Comprehensive follow-up resources are supplied to all attendees.

Facilitator - Kieran Sweeney
Kieran Sweeney is an accredited post-primary coach with experience as an AP1, Deputy Principal, Principal and former Director of Limerick Education Centre. He is a qualified and certified leadership coach and a trained and approved competency-based interview chairperson with the JMB.
