Event Information
Empowering Professionals to Support Autistic and other Neurodivergent Learners. Join us for an engaging and practical online training series designed for professionals who support autistic and other neurodivergent children.

Event Description
This course offers 7.5 hours of live, interactive training led by Advanced Practitioners in the Attention Autism approach.

Through six thoughtfully structured workshops, you’ll explore all four stages of the Attention Autism programme. You’ll gain insight into the principles behind the approach, see real-life examples, and if you wish you can receive personalized coaching and feedback to help you apply what you learn in your own setting.

Learning Outcomes
- The values and principles that guide the Attention Autism approach
- How to respectfully invite and sustain a child’s attention
- Ways to co-regulate and share joyful, meaningful experiences
- Strategies to support authentic communication and self-expression
- How to tailor sessions to each child’s strengths, interests, and needs
- Creating engaging, purposeful activities that spark curiosity and connection
- Building sessions that are enjoyable, memorable, and affirming for everyone involved

How It Works?
The training is delivered in six live 75-minute sessions over several weeks, allowing time to reflect and apply the learning between workshops. Each session includes video demonstrations, live modelling, and collaborative discussion so we ask for your cameras to be on during each session.

You’ll also be invited to submit two short videos of your own practice. These will be used to provide individualized coaching and supportive feedback, helping you grow in confidence and skill. This is not compulsory and if you do not wish to do so but attend all sessions you will be awarded a Foundation Level Certificate.
