Supporting Literacy & Numeracy in the classroom through the use of i-pads and Online Tools

Participants will explore areas such as developing literacy and numeracy lessons with i-pad devices, investigating accessibility and SEN practices in Irish classrooms before planning for the possible integration of tablet devices across the wider curriculum.

The course will also explore how i-pad devices can be used to develop whole school assessment practices by developing a portfolio of sample teaching and learning resources for all class levels over the week. Finally, the development of safer internet practices and whole school planning for e-learning will be also be prioritised throughout the course.
