Wild Teaching - SESE Inside & Outside the Classroom
Highlight the outdoors as a valuable teaching and learning resource, aimed at supporting the teaching History, Geography and Science.
Participants will be enabled to –
• Enhance the use of the outdoors as a learning resource.
• Learn about the biology of plants and vegetables and practical ways to teach pupils about them.
• Learn about the biology of butterflies, invertebrates and birds and practical ways to engage pupils.
• Conduct experiments using plants, organisms and soil in order to enhance the pupil learning.
• Develop transferable skills of local trail walking.
